Linda's Americans and Satins:

My grandmothe Linda Bledsoe breeds different colors in the Americans and American Satins. She mainly focuses on the Dalmations and the self varieties associated with them. Right now she is currently working on getting her chocolate dalmations, and maybe later in time some red dalmations started in her breeding program. Look for them in the future.

Highland's Hunk of Apache Trails
American Black Dalmation SR Boar #990

-Grandson to Highland's Tucker, Son of Highland's Tuffy and Highland's Coal-
-Highland's Hunk of Apache Trails got his name at birth, when he was born my grandmother was sick and didn't realy venture outside into the caviary. Her fiance went out to check on the cavies and he found Hunk along with his brothers and sister, but Hunk was at the opposite end of the cage of his mother. So Nick decided he would move him closer to his mom and hope he would nurse, Hunk was too week to move himself.

Well after that Nick decided he wanted the one pig he had rescued from probeble death. So we named him Highland after the caviary he was born in and Hunk because Nick thought he was just a handsom boar, but the last bit of his name was attached because Apache Trails is Nicks Kennel name for his dogs and he wanted to carry it over to his cavy.

Keepsakes
American SX Beige Dalmation SR Boar #

-This boar is a Grandchild of Dopey, his father a American Satin dalmation came from one of my first breedings between Dopey and his sow a black dalmation american. Out of these litters the Dalmation spotting wasn't that great, so I never kept any of the babies I got from them.
After the first time I bred Dopey to the dalmation sow I new that the babies wheren't what I was looking for,  so I sold them. I continued however to breed them together. If I would ever see two guinea pigs actualy be in love it was these two.
When I got this boar I was told that he was a satin carrier, I had my grandmother buy him for her breeding program for two main reasons, one was that she was wanting the chocolate dalmations and I figured that since the beige is a lighter shade to an extent of chocolate, so with this in mind I figured chances would be good to through chocolate dalmations. The other thing was we needed a new dalmation boar bloodline (this was before I found out he was Dopey's grandson) He had very nice distinct spotting with a two good belly spots.
